Delicious, Fluffy, and Easy to Make High Protein Pancake Recipe

If you want to learn how to make The Best Protein Powder Pancake Recipe from scratch, look no further! A delicious combination of ingredients you likely already have in the kitchen (flour, milk, eggs, baking powder) makes these easy Protein Packed Pancakes the perfect high Protein Breakfast Idea!

Protein Powder Recipes: Pre Cooking Instructions

• HEAT Cook over medium heat. It takes longer but the results are better (a non-stick skillet works best).

• OIL Oil the pan and allow it to heat up. Before making the frist batch, give it a gentle wipe with paper towels to remove any big blobs of oil. This will give you perfectly browned pancakes.

• The protein pancake batter should be slightly lumpy (image below) and should pour easily but should not be runny.

• If it’s too thick add milk a tablespoon or two at a time.

• If batter is too runny or you’ve accidentally added too much liquid, you can add a bit of flour to get the right consistency.

HOW TO COOK Protein PANCAKES

Test your pan for temperature. Spill a droplet of water onto the surface and if it sizzles, it’s ready. Avoid making it too hot or the pancakes will burn before they’re cooked fully!

Directions

1. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into pan.

2. Wait until bubbles form and they just begin to pop. The edges should be a little bit browned.

3. Flip and cook the other side.

There are a couple of ways to make creating these pancakes even faster! We can easily premix the dry ingredients and keep them in dry storage to help speed the process!

Alternatively we can save our fully cooked pancakes refrigerated for up to 5 days and kept in the freezer for 2 months. Just seal them in a freezer bag or an airtight container for storage and be sure to write the discard date on the bag!

This really helps out for those busy days when you need to grab a meal and be on your way! Simply pop them in the microwave or toaster and you’ll have a delicious high protein snack to get your day started!

The Beast Protein powder Pancake Recipe to make from scratch. These are fluffy, delicious and packed with protein!

Best Protein Pancake Recipe(From Scratch)

Ingredients

• 1.5cups flour

• 4 Scoops Whey Protein Isolate

• 4 teaspoons baking powder

• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 3/4 cups milk of choice

• 2 eggs or 1 egg and 1/4 cup egg whites

• 2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil

Preparing Your Protein Pancake batter

• Whisk milk, eggs and melted butter.

• Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix.

• Create a gap in the middle and add wet ingredients. Stir until combined, batter should look slightly lumpy. It should be a bit thick but should still be able to pour smoothly. You might want to add a bit more milk if batter is too thick to pour.

• Preheat frying pan over medium heat (or to 350°F). Lightly grease with butter or oil.

• Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and cook on one side until bubbles form and begin to pop. Flip and cook on the other side about 1-2 minutes.

Depending on your diet and current goals there are several better option toppings to put on your protein pancake recipe.

• If You’re not worried about the macros feel free to add Butter and real maple syrup!

• If you prefer sugar free alternatives their are plenty of sugar free syrups available these days!

• Another delicious alternative can be whipped cream and honey! It may not seem like a better option, however honey is a great alternative to syrup and a small amount of whipped cream has very low calories!

• Sliced strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and Bananas!!

• Nuts, sprinkles, and chocolate chips!

• Jam and Jelly’s! It’s easy to take the fruits mentioned above and make your own healthy jams right in your kitchen!

• Nut Butters are a delicious way to add some healthy fats and add some extra calories if you’re training to gain mass.

• Finally cinnamon can be added to the finished pancakes, or directly into the batter!
